Flame Retardant bedlinen 
Lets round off the week by taking a look at our range of inherently flame retardant bed linen!
 
This range is perfect for some care homes and hospitals required by law to have flame retardant linen. Inherently flame retardant means that the linen itself is fire retardant, not to be confused with other bed linen that is mereley sprayed with chemicals to stop combustion.
 
The range is available in a variety of pastel shades, much like our 50/50 poly-cotton range, to suit all.
 
Why not match up with some of our 500gsm premium towels? Or our contract duvets and pillows, which are also flame retardant… more about that on Monday!

This week we are looking at the bed linen we have here at Towels Direct.
 
So, lets start with our 50/50 Poly-Cotton bedlinen, this 68 pick “easy care” range is perfect for hotels and care homes. It is easy to launder and comes in a variety of pastel shades to suit everyone’s needs!
 
It is one of our contract ranges, and is made to survive the wear and tear of frequent washing, without breaking the bank, it is excellent value for money! They are a great match for any of our contract towels.

Royal 600gsm Towels

I thought I would round off this week with a bit of luxury! Our 600gsm Royal range is just that, absolute luxury! Made the same way as the 450gsm and 500gsm ranges I have already shown you this week, these towels are the thickest Turkish cotton towels we stock. Built for 4 &5 star hotels, and spa’s that want to offer their customers a little bit extra!
Of course, they would also go nicely in your bathroom at home, if you fancy treating yourself that is!

The next range of towels I am going to tell you about are our Premium 500gsm Turkish towels.
Like the 450gsm I described on Monday, all of our Turkish towels are built to last, saving our contract customers money, and lets face it, in these times every penny helps!
Again guaranteed upto 150 washes, these towels will stay looking good as new for even longer than that if you treat them right!
These are perfectly suited for Hotels, Guest Houses, Care homes, Spas and Salons. They are the same great quality as the Standard 450gsm, but they are thicker, and more luxurious and will wash up thicker over time.

Contract towels – Standard 450gsm

450Gsm Standard Towels

I thought I would start the week by introducing our Standard towels to you. These are a 450gsm Turkish contract quality towel for use in environments where durability is a key factor.
They are perfect for care homes, but would suit just as well in guest houses, hotels, spas and salons. We guarantee they will wash up to 150 times before you will notice any signs of wear in them, because of their double lock stitched borders. The 450gsm Weight is our thinnest contract towel, but dont let that fool you, the quality is still the same in all of our Turkish contract towels, just the thickness changes.
 
450gsm towels can be very economical in the laundry department, being able to fit more in a wash load, and drying quicker than thicker towels can be a real plus when electricity prices are always on the up.

Emily has been working for towels direct for well over five years now, and her current post is as manager and supervisor to the sales department. She watches over Shane and Tom in the office and makes sure all of our customers get the service that they need. She is currently in the process of making sure all of our Salon, Spa, and holiday let customers (amongst others) are looked after. So if you need some towels, get in touch with Emily.

A relative newcomer to the Towels Direct sales team, Shane joined the company in the Summer of 2011 and has quickly become a key member of the team. He is now the dedicated contact for our Hotel Industry customers. He works in a small close knit team with Tom and Emily and is always keen to help our customers with any problem or enquiry.

So, if you own or run a B&B, Guest house or Hotel, and you are looking to replace your Towels or Bedding, then Shane needs to be your first port of call with us.

On Friday we will turn our attention to Emily, the team leader here at Towels Direct.

Tom has worked here for over 3 years now, and after a spell in the warehouse, he has now been in our customer service and sales department for over a year. He is now the dedicated contact for all of our customers in the Care sector. Working closely with Shane and Emily in a tight knit team in our office to deliver an excellent level of customer service. This week has been pretty hectic here in the Towels Direct office! Coming back after the Christmas break we have been playing catch up, as well as trying to make a plan of action for the coming year!
 
 
We had a delivery on Wednesday of our contract towels! Please go to our contract towel page and have a look at what we have to offer!
Today, we have been taking staff photos, which you will be able to see in my three part team blog next week. I think its time everyone got to know Emily, Shane and Tom a little better!

Well, the new year is finally here!

 I hope everyone had a wonderful time over the Christmas break, and that you’re all back into the swing of things with work this week!

For the new year I have a lot of new and exciting things planned for the Towels Direct Blog. Keep your eyes peeled every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a new post about what’s going on here at Towels Direct. There will be sector specific updates for all our Care Home, Hotel, Spa and Salon customers, as well as some light hearted insights into life in the Towels Direct office.

Next week, expect three very individual updates as we introduce our team members to you ahead of our own pages going live on the website!

For now, I will leave it at that but I will be back on Friday with a round up of the week’s events here at Towels Direct.
