I thought I would try and break it down and explain what is so “special” about our Turkish towels, and also how this really can save you money!

First of all, no matter what you may have heard about towels, Turkish ones are the best quality. After all, the first towels were woven there, and the heritage lives on to this day. Three out of the four contract ranges we stock come from Turkey, so you can be sure you are getting the real deal from us.

What we mean by a contract towel is simply that it is a product designed to do a job, whether that be in a care home, a hotel or indeed just on your towel rail at home. Our contract towels have borders that are stitched twice to ensure they don’t fray or shrink, what we call “double lock stitched“. They are also made of ring spun yarn to add strength and increase the life span. Simply put, these towels will outlast the ones you see in the shops, upto 150 washes in fact.

Moving away from the technicalities, these towels can save you money. Instead of buying three or four times a year, you may find yourself replenishing our towels once or twice in that time.  On the surface a price that is 50 pence to a pound cheaper can sometimes seem appealing, but when you have to replace them twice as often, you are in a sense spending a lot more!
