I thought I would give you all a little insight into goings on here at the Towels Direct offices to end the week!
The three sales team members; Shane, Emily and Tom, have all been studying towards NVQ qualifications over the last few months.
Today we all sat our English exams. To our great pleasure, we all passed with flying colours. We are now all on track to finish our courses before the summer months!

Here at Towels Direct, we pride ourselves on the quality of our contract Towels, but often the benefits of having high quality towels are lost beneath the price barrier.
I thought I would try and break it down and explain what is so “special” about our Turkish towels, and also how this really can save you money!
First of all, no matter what you may have heard about towels, Turkish ones are the best quality. After all, the first towels were woven there, and the heritage lives on to this day. Three out of the four contract ranges we stock come from Turkey, so you can be sure you are getting the real deal from us.
What we mean by a contract towel is simply that it is a product designed to do a job, whether that be in a care home, a hotel or indeed just on your towel rail at home. Our contract towels have borders that are stitched twice to ensure they don’t fray or shrink, what we call “double lock stitched“. They are also made of ring spun yarn to add strength and increase the life span. Simply put, these towels will outlast the ones you see in the shops, upto 150 washes in fact.
Moving away from the technicalities, these towels can save you money. Instead of buying three or four times a year, you may find yourself replenishing our towels once or twice in that time. On the surface a price that is 50 pence to a pound cheaper can sometimes seem appealing, but when you have to replace them twice as often, you are in a sense spending a lot more!

Lets kick off a brand new week with some money saving information for our care home friends!
We know that it is important for you to keep your bedding clean, and it is a matter of necessity in the care sector to use pillow protectors and duvet protectors. What many people dont know is that there is an all in one alternative that can save a lot of money!

This range is perfect for some care homes and hospitals required by law to have flame retardant linen. Inherently flame retardant means that the linen itself is fire retardant, not to be confused with other bed linen that is mereley sprayed with chemicals to stop combustion.
The range is available in a variety of pastel shades, much like our 50/50 poly-cotton range, to suit all.

I thought I would round off this week with a bit of luxury! Our 600gsm Royal range is just that, absolute luxury! Made the same way as the 450gsm and 500gsm ranges I have already shown you this week, these towels are the thickest Turkish cotton towels we stock. Like the 450gsm I described on Monday, all of our Turkish towels are built to last, saving our contract customers money, and lets face it, in these times every penny helps!
Again guaranteed upto 150 washes, these towels will stay looking good as new for even longer than that if you treat them right!
These are perfectly suited for Hotels, Guest Houses, Care homes, Spas and Salons. They are the same great quality as the Standard 450gsm, but they are thicker, and more luxurious and will wash up thicker over time.
